I adore this. I used to be a pretty big ninja turtles fan, I still own all the movies, and I love where you went with it. I recognized the kabuki face-paint as an influence almost immediately too and I'm such a big fan. I love japanese theatre. Awesome blend of cultural elements and I love the line work you did to add some value in the face, neck, and hands

I never do this, but I favorited this before I commented on it. Before I full-sized it even.
I don't have to tell you how fun and stylish this is. How creepy and realistic and fun it is. You already know those.

That's a really interesting take on a turtle. I like the more natural color to it, and the war paint (?). I also like the hoodie, because it gives the realistic sense that they are aware they are different and must keep a low profile. :nod:

I was checking out some kabuki face painting for reference. =D
I remember in the old movies they wore trench coats and hats to hide their identity, but it was totally obvious they were turtles because they had giant green hands with three fingers and no shoes.
